Generali Belgium has operated over 110 years in our country, and is part of the international Generali Group. The Generali Group has been an insurer since 1831 and is one of the leading businesses in Europe: the enterprise is active in 60 counties and employs over 80,000 employees, which provide services to 65 million clients. Generali insures over 600,000 people in Belgium and leans on a network of more than 1000 agents for this. Generali Belgium sells innovative insurance products for both individuals and businesses.

BIS was asked to implement the boardroom. To comply with the wishes of the management of Generali Belgium, it was necessary to re-design and re-decorate the entire space. That is why BIS not only provided a fully new audiovisual solution, but also redesigned the interior. The conference room has been renovated with a custom conference table, dresser and multimedia wall. In the multimedia wall – a BIS VisionWall – a 65-inch (165 cm) display has been integrated. Another important thing in the upgrade of the boardroom was the change from analog to digital connections, such as HDMI, allowing modern appliances to connect without an issue.

In the event of an unexpected display failure, a projection screen could be pulled down from the ceiling. The finish of the multimedia wall has been taken all the way to the conference table and the spacious dresser. Finally, Generali selected a Zebrano finish where the texture of the materials used can clearly be seen. This gives the space a warm and homely ambiance, while staying professional and pragmatic.
