Room design and Audio-Visual & ICT integration

BIS provides advice on, designs, produces and maintains buildings and rooms customised to users' preferences and/or provides maximum support for users in their work from the vision that technological intelligence will penetrate deep into every working environment, every building and every workplace. We do this by focusing on design, audiovisual and IT technology and use (bricks, bytes & behaviour) and achieving an ideal match between them.

Our mission is to ensure an optimum working environment in which users feel comfortable and in which they transfer information efficiently and easily in a visual and interactive manner, share knowledge, develop ideas and work (together). We do this with a combination of competences in the area of smart buildings and smart offices, IT & development, audiovisual solutions, collaboration and videoconferencing, narrowcasting (digital signage) and interior design; all combined, of course, with a well-thought-out programme of services. Furthermore, BIS has an excellent reputation to maintain in the field of event rental and digital productions.

BIS services focus on the commercial and institutional end user, for whom we produce and maintain thousands of presentation, information and communication rooms each year. Around 220 people work at BIS in strategically distributed branches throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.

BIS is distinctive in its approach, knowledge and expertise. Our eight core competences consist of the total value chain of advice, design, production, maintenance and management of smart buildings, audiovisual rooms and audiovisual & IT infrastructures. From consultancy and interior design to project management and installation, and from programming and engineering to preventative maintenance and user training. The combination of these competences, together with its size, gives BIS a distinctive character and a powerful profile.

BIS has chosen to incorporate its knowledge, expertise and activities in eight core competences, resulting in positive synergy effects, the implementation of the best solutions and the ability to provide all AV & IT disciplines under one roof. BIS core competences are:

  • Smart Buildings
    Fitting out buildings with infrastructure and equipment that share information and are customised to users’ needs. We do not supply, integrate and maintain separate pieces of technology or shared technology, but a total package from entry to the board room, driven by your interests and our desire to be innovative.
  • IT Systems & Development
    Design, roll-out, protection, maintenance and hosting of IT projects & IT infrastructures. Ultimately protected, professional, flexible, user-friendly and scalable. The rollout of complete networks and the implementation of customised development routes, such as the coupling between FMIS and narrowcasting systems, are also taken care of professionally.
  • BIS Audio-Visual
    Supply of all possible audio-visual & IT products and the implementation of dynamic audio-visual & IT solutions (images, sound, operation) for meetings, presentations, information and collaboration. We provide advice, implement and maintain formal, informal and hybrid solutions for every type of room and each organisation, in every sector.
  • LED Solutions
    Large-format solutions for transferring information within buildings and for attractive external communication. High quality LED displays and LED walls for a compelling display of dynamic content. The entire process - incl. support for licence applications - is taken care of. Ideal for outdoor applications or in large, indoor locations.
  • Collaboration
    On-site, cloud and hybrid solutions for brainstorming, meetings and presentations regardless of time and place and visually, with the opportunity, of course, of sharing and processing interactive content. We set up every form of collaboration, video conference, unified communications and video streaming.
  • Narrowcasting
    Digital signage concepts enabling you to visualise your message and offer it to your audience in a targeted manner. With our narrowcasting solution (BIS ID), you can unlock and visualise the information from every information system and database. You can manage and process all content streams remotely with the intelligent and user-friendly BIS ID Content Runner (CMS).
  • Event Rental
    The right result at key moments. Specialises in organising and facilitating corporate events and gatherings of up to 5,000 people. Image display (projection, LCD, LED - in every size), audio support, light, interactive solutions, camera registration, webcasting, podium building, etc. A single point of contact for maximum peace of mind.
  • Architecture & Interior
    Total furnishing of your room, with attention to design, furnishings, lighting, floors, walls and ceiling. Our interior designers do not only design great solutions, but create an experience. One distinct feature is the BIS VisionLine; sophisticated meeting room furniture line with integrated AV, cable management and ventilation designed in-house.

BIS Services: IT, Audiovisual and Creative

The BIS service comprises the entire process of room furnishing and the implementation and integration of AV & IT solutions, including training, preventative and corrective maintenance. In addition, BIS operates its own repair centre and a customer service & support department, which also provides remote service and via chat and video.

BIS also delivers integral system management and we are your partner for hosting services. At BIS, IT services in the field of IT security, IT patch management and IT monitoring are also in very safe hands. You can also leave the production of your digital signage content, presentations, instruction videos and business videos to our specialists with confidence.

AV as a Service

Econocom take over BIS

As a 100% subsidiary of the international Econocom group, BIS offers each customer the opportunity to purchase all his solutions and services as a service. This means that the client no longer invests in advance, but only pays for what he uses. We are therefore responding to the trend from possession to use, with all the (budgetary) benefits this brings. The possibility of AV-as-a-service offers clients the opportunity to allow their organisation to grow with technological innovation, without that having a negative impact on liquid assets. They reserve cash for core activities and aren’t required to write off the equipment.
