Digital whiteboards
Since the introduction of the digital whiteboard, it is no longer possible to imagine the classroom without it. These boards allow you to instantly bring the many possibilities offered by the digital age into your classroom and your lesson. BIS supplies various leading-brand digital whiteboards with either pressure-sensitive surfaces (soft boards) or infrared/ultrasonic technology (hard boards) in both traditional (4:3) and widescreen format. Touch screens
As well as digital whiteboards, BIS also supplies various touch screens. The educational differences between a digital whiteboard and a touch screen are not particularly great. In general, anything you can do with a digital whiteboard, you can also do with a touch screen. The differences can be found primarily in image quality, viewing angle, contrast values and perhaps most important of all, low cost of ownership and long service life.
Projectors
Projectors for use in schools must have specific properties. These include theft prevention properties, the ability to monitor and manage all the projectors within the various buildings centrally and simultaneously, and of course – on account of their intensive use in the classroom – a long service life for lamps and filters. Furniture with AV & ICT
You can choose from an extensive collection of school furniture, including desks for students and lecturers. The desks meet the highest ergonomic standards and can be fully adapted to your wishes. It is possible to fit the desks with a monitor or, for example, to equip the lecturer’s desk with a built-in visualiser, operating system or tablet computer. It is also possible to add additional student workstations to the teacher’s desk. All with the aim of transferring information to students as efficiently and comfortably as possible.
